Christmas tree sprayed orange by climate activists in Berlin

Watch as a Christmas tree is sprayed orange by activists protesting climate change in Berlin on 13 December.

Members of the group ‘Last Generation’, sprayed jets of paint on trees in seven different cities across Germany, including Berlin, Munich, and Leipzig.

The group, funded by the same Climate Emergency Fund that finances Just Stop Oil, wants the German government to stop using fossil fuels.

In a tweet following the video, the group said: “Amidst the flashing lights, shiny jewellery and festive atmosphere, it’s easy to forget: We’re racing full speed towards catastrophe and our governments are failing miserably to pull the emergency brake in Dubai.”
